What started as a small butcher’s shop has grown into an international food company with hundreds of employees and seven production sites. Through our two business units, Royal Smilde Bakery and Royal Smilde Foods, we offer a wide range of products to customers worldwide, from margarines, oils and fats to baked goods, puff pastry products, snacks, salads, and sauces.

Even in our early days as a butcher’s shop, we rendered excess fat to prevent waste. Today, the challenges are greater and expectations are higher.
